Read Before You Condominium
Posted on March 26th, 2010 1 commentMiami is one of the famous cities where people relocate. Aside from being the best tourist destination, it is also one of the best places where you can start your family and new life. This is a city where there is a diverse culture and gives a chance to meet other people. It is a city where you can find the best and quality real estate properties.
Your decision to purchase a condominium (condo) makes good financial sense! People who purchase a condo usually want to avoid the major upkeep and maintenance usually associated with a single family house.
I am aware of one building in particular that does not allow either dogs or cats. Not allowing pets does provide for a bit of serenity in a building. No owner has to worry about a yappy little dog who barks every time someone walks past the front door. Nor do owners have to worry about “Billy the Thoughtless tenant” who brings his three pit-bulls into an elevator with you and your friends. Also, no one has to worry that Fido is going to have an accident in the elevator, or the lobby of the condo building.
Whether you buy a Miami Beach condo as your permanent residence or rent it as your accommodation during your vacation, it is important that you have to choose something that meets your requirements.
Compiled from the American Pet Products Manufacturers Association (APPMA) 2007-2008 National Pet Owners Survey, 63% of household who own their home, have at least one dog. In addition, 34% of household who own their home, have a cat. The benefits of pet ownership are well known. Most pet owners truly love their pets and appreciate their joyful greeting after we’ve been away, and know how much emotional support pets can lend. Isolated individuals reported that, because their pets are so trusting and dependent upon them, they feel needed and have a sense of purpose.
Another great shopping technique is to drive in and around the areas where you would like to live. Often Condo owners are selling their homes and have “For Sale” lawn signs in front of their properties. You can call the phone numbers and ask questions about their condos.
When you have selected potential condos to purchase, you must ask about the Homeowners Association (HOA) Fees. All condo owners must pay a monthly, quarterly or yearly fee to their associations. These groups help to maintain the property and they are paid to conduct those services. Each HOA fee varies. Some cover services such as providing landscaping, snow removal, heat and hot water. Others pay for maintaining swimming pools and other amenities.
Mark Wade During the late 1980s, Mark fell in love with the Philadelphia real estate market. The first condo he bought for himself was in Old City. Working with bank foreclosures on multi-unit buildings, Mark began to carve his niche as a condominium specialist. Since that time, Mark has progressed into helping developers turn apartment buildings into condominium buildings. Having been inside countless condos in the Center City real estate area, Mark is intimately familiar with the available properties. Mark prides himself and impresses others of his vast knowledge of what’s trendy and knows which finishes buyers look for when selecting a home…. so much so that he’s been seen on HGTV’s What You Get For The Money, CN-8′s Money Matters and was the 2005 winner of Philadelphia Magazine’s Kitchen of the Year contest.
A graduate of Bowling Green School of Business in Northwestern Ohio, Mark began selling in Philadelphia in 1989 and has been addicted to it ever since. He still resides in Old City and loves the area!

Remodeling Ideas
Posted on January 14th, 2009 No commentsWe all reach that point in house ownership where something begins to bug up. Maybe the previous owner’s had really poor taste in paint colors, or maybe we just don’t like how the kitchen is set up. Today we all have access to great resources to help up remodel our homes, so whether you are changing colors or putting in a soaker tub in your bathroom, everything that you need to get started should be at your local home-improvement centre.
Most people have a few things about their home that they would like to change. Perhaps your bedroom is looking a bit dull, or you really want to have a chef’s kitchen. Don’t resist this urge, as it will prevent you from feeling stationary or bored with your home. Whether you want to paint a few rooms or knock down a few walls these things are within your grasp, although some of them may require some professional assistance.
You can find remodeling ideas and home-improvement stores. Sometimes it is a matter of finding the right piece of furniture or the right fixture to go in your home. Once you have this chosen, the rest of it may come to you rather easily. You may also get remodeling ideas from home interior stores. You may find an entire display that seems to hit home with you. If nothing that you see there works, you may have to focus your search to one or two items. Once you have something you love you can go from there.
Looking online is also a great place to find ideas. You can check out this year’s trends in colors and textures as well as see what others have done with similar spaces. Check out pictures of remodelling sites and also get step-by-step instruction on how to undergo a certain project. You may like someone’s new space so much that you’ll want to copy it, or just take aspects of it for your home.
Don’t get too caught up in the details as you are remodelling, as they can easily start to bog you down and overwhelm. Keep your perspective and remember to step back and appraise your project ever few hours to make sure that it is still in keeping with your idea. In a few days you will be awarded with a fresh new room.
